Nicxro is a small drawer of tools for the jobs that should take thirty seconds and somehow eat your afternoon. Format JSON. Decode a token. Check a phone layout. Encode a URL. Compress an image. Compare two versions of a file. Then go back to the actual product.
The site exists because search still sends people to twelve random formatters with a new UI, a newsletter wall, and an ad in the text box. You do not need another identity. You need a quiet place you already trust when a payload, a link, or a timestamp is lying to you.
What we are for
Nicxro is for people who ship websites and APIs. Developers, designers who live in the inspector, support folks who get handed a “simple JSON error,” and anyone who has pasted a minified blob into Slack and hoped a coworker could see the shape.
The tools cover everyday web work:
- JSON format, validate, and convert
- Website responsiveness checks
- Minify and beautify HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Base64, JWT, hashes, and URL encoding
- Regex testing, diffs, QR codes, and brand colors
- Image compression and meta tag checks
- Password generation and AI writing helpers when a draft is all you need
The articles go deep on one job each. They are not tutorials for their own sake. They are the notes we wish were next to the tool when the output still looks wrong.
How we think about tools
A good tools page is boring. The work is already noisy.
Use the right instrument. If the data is JSON, format or validate it. Do not regex it. If the string has three dotted parts, it is probably a JWT. If you are about to upload a photo, compress it to the size you will actually display. If two files “should be the same,” hash for bytes and diff for meaning.
Wrong tool is how people paste a production token into a JSON formatter and decide the formatter is broken.
What we are not
Nicxro is not a cloud IDE, not a design system, and not a replacement for your editor. We will not store your project, run your test suite, or become another tab you feel guilty about.
We are also not a vault. A formatter, a decoder, and a hash checker are not encryption. If you would not paste a secret into an email, do not paste it into a tool. Redact customer records. Strip Authorization headers. Use fake tokens for screenshots. Prefer tools that can run in your browser when the paste is sensitive.
The writing
The guides on this site are written the way the work actually happens. You hit a wall. You need the shape of the data, the first syntax error, the timezone that flipped the day. Then you need the mistake that looks like a tool bug and is not.
We keep the copy human on purpose. Fast text is easy. Useful text still has to sound like a person who used the product and got cut by the edge cases.
Who runs this
Nicxro is a small site, not a department. It is built and maintained as a practical toolbox: WordPress for the guides, Hostinger for hosting, and a short list of tools we actually bookmark.
If a page is wrong, a tool misfires, or a guide skipped the case you hit, say so. The point of a drawer is that the instruments stay sharp.
