How to Set Up a Mesh Wi-Fi System for Faster Home Internet

Dead zones and laggy video calls are usually a coverage problem, not a speed problem. A mesh Wi-Fi system places nodes around the home so every room stays on a strong signal.

Place the main unit near your modem, put satellites about one floor or a few rooms apart, and avoid hiding nodes in cabinets. Use the manufacturer app to run a quick coverage test after setup.

Once everything is online, rename the network, update firmware, and move bandwidth-heavy devices off crowded 2.4 GHz bands when possible for smoother streaming and gaming.
